Bringing classic covers to clothes

picture-7With books entering the digital age, we could be looking at the beginning of the end for eye-catching book covers. Luckily, Brooklyn based Out of Print is keeping the book cover relevant and they’re doing it in a new and different way. Out of Print is a small clothing company that takes some of the most iconic book covers and puts them on t-shirts. They currently offer 17 different books on shirt (in men’s sizes only right now). Some of the titles include Catch 22, Brave New World, Moby Dick. My favorite out of the set is Of Mice and Men. All shirts are only $28 dollars. Out of Print works carefully with the artists, publishers, and authors to ensure all the covers and licensed properly. And on top of all this, for every shirt sold Out of Print, along with partner Books for Africa, one book is donated to a struggling community. I’d buy a shirt for that reason alone. Check out the shirts and pick up your favorite book today! Shirts start shipping out on February 15th. And ladies don’t worry, they’re launching a women’s line in March.
